For current University of Oregon students enrolled in classes, the Student Alumni Association is here to enhance your experience as a UO student, supporting your flight as a Duck! Between our connections with alumni and our student member base, we provide unique opportunities for you to network with either. As a member you have access to member-only benefits all year long, as well as opportunities to create new connections and grow your professional network!

Starting in the Summer of 2025, thanks to our UO Alumni Association members, the SAA membership is now free for all current UO students enrolled in classes! Think you're a SAA Legacy* member? *SAA Legacy members are members who paid for the SAA membership prior to the fee waiver that began Summer 2025. 

Why be a SAA Member?

In addition to a 20% coupon to The Duck Store when you sign up, your SAA membership gives you access to special shopping events at the Nike and Columbia Sportswear employee stores. 
Throughout the year the SAA holds events exclusively for our members. From brunches with bunches to dinners with winners, we connect SAA members to our Duck Alumni at connection events that allow for one-on-one as well as small-group networking opportunities. At Study Hours or our Welcome Carnival in the fall, SAA members can meet fellow students and make lifelong connections from now until long after graduation!
The University of Oregon has an alumni base of over 250,000. The SAA helps connect you with alumni who are willing to offer advice or meet for an informational interview.
The SAA partners with the Alumni Association's Duck Career Network and the UO Career Center to bring you all the resources you need to find a job or internship on-campus, get your résumé reviewed, or start making connections in your field of interest.
The SAA has internships that allow students to gain leadership experience and meet new people. Open to students of all majors and class years, interning with the Student Alumni Leadership Team (a.k.a. SAALT) is a great way to become a leader and build your resume!
