DC Ducks: Homes Not Borders
Volunteer with fellow Ducks to make a difference for newly settled refugees
What if a few hours of your weekend could turn an empty apartment into a welcoming home? Join fellow DC Ducks for a hands-on volunteer experience where you’ll help move furniture and household essentials from the Homes Not Borders warehouse and transform an apartment for a refugee or asylum seeker.
Make an impact while building community with other UO alumni and friends living in the D/M/V. No special skills required—just a willingness to help. Volunteers will meet at the warehouse at 9:30 a.m., enjoy lunch provided by the DC Ducks chapter, and wrap up the day by 3:00 p.m.
