Humans are the only species known to set long-term goals, so why are we so bad at sticking to them? UO professor of psychology and co-director of the Center for Translational Neuroscience, Elliot Berkman, joins the UOAA for our latest online lecture on the science of self-control.

Professor Berkman will share his research in psychology and neuroscience, exploring how we succeed in our goals, why we sometimes fail, and the intriguing neuroscience of habits. This session promises to offer valuable insights into the mechanisms of self-control and goal setting.

Set yourself the goal of attending this fascinating event and discover more about the cutting-edge research happening at the University of Oregon!
