SAA Card to Self

Pick up a card to write to your future graduating self or drop off  one you already wrote! You can drop your letter to yourself in the card lock box on the Little Free Library cart at the Ford Alumni Center outside the Alumni Association Suite on the first floor! We will collect the cards every night so they're secure. 

Didn’t write one, but you want to? Feel free to pick a card up and write a message to your future self! We will have blank cards and envelopes available at select events as well as at the Ford Alumni Center on the Little Free Library Cart outside the Alumni Association Suite! 

Not sure what to write? Here are some ideas (but feel free to write what inspires you!): 

• Where you're at in your journey right now
• Where you think you'll be in the next 1-4 years
• What you imagine will happen in the future
• What memories are valuable to you right now that you don't want to forget
• A funny story you want to remember in the future
• Why you chose the University of Oregon
• Something you're grateful for now that you want to remember in the future
• What you hope to do post-graduation

Receiving the Card

We will email students who dropped off a card close to the UO Alumni Association’s New Grad Gift Pickup event in early June before graduation to pick up the card for the grad year indicated on the outside of the envelope.

In order for us to get the card to you, please complete all the prompts on the outside of the envelope clearly and legibly. Seal the envelope before dropping it off in the lock box as well; the letter is private for you!
